CHURCH SCHOOL REGISTRATION
To register your child/ren for Church School, go to
http://firstcongopathways.org and
click on the "Register" button on the left side of the page. You may
choose to register online or print the forms and send them in.
MUSIC MINISTRY PROGRAMS
If you are interested in joining any of the music programs of the church,

EMERGENCY SHELTER MEAL PREPARATION
First Congregational UCC prepares meals for Shelter residents on the third
Sunday of the month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. There are several openings for
members to sign up for September 19 and October 17.
PROVIDING A MEAL AT FIRST CONGREGATIONAL FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Do you enjoy cooking, serving, giving back to our community, sharing meals
with others? There has been interest in providing a weekly community meal
in our facility. If you are interested in leading or helping to organize a
community meal program at First Congregational, please contact Deb Burich

FIRST CONGO ON THE ROAD BLOG
There is a new blog on the First
Congregational website. It is called "First Congo on the
Road." It will be used by First Congregational UCC, Appleton
groups traveling for various reasons. You can reach it

ST. JOSEPH FOOD PROGRAM
With the help of area churches, St.
Joseph Food Program has initiated a
program to better assist in the distribution of food to the area's
needy.
Copps, Pick 'N Save, Festival and Piggly Wiggly will be featuring in
their
weekly ads items conducive to food program needs, such as canned
vegetables,
pasta, peanut butter, etc. Plastic bags will be placed in all
area
churches for parishioners to pick up. When you shop at the
above stores,
help out by purchasing these items and bringing them to church in these
bags.
Please take a bag on your next shopping trip and return it to the
church with
items for the St. Joseph Food Program.
PRAYER AND A WALK

from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. We will walk through the end of September.
HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Our Parish Nurse program is looking for those of you who are practicing or
retired nurses, CNAs, doctors, therapists and health educators. We are
looking for folks who would be willing, under the guidance of our Parish Nurse,
to visit with members and/or assist with community health education events that
will be held at church as part of our Parish Nurse program. It is a great
way to share your gifts and talents with our church community. Call or

CLOTHING DRIVE FOR BACK BAY MISSION
We are collecting clothing for the Back Bay Mission. A group from
First Congregational UCC will be traveling to Back Bay the third week in
September. Items needed are socks, underwear, t-shorts, Wal-mart gift
cards, but any donation will be appreciated. If you would like to make a
cash donation, please note "Back Bay Clothing Drive" on your check.
Items may be placed in the box provided in the Narthex. If you have
questions or to pick up any donation, contact Ron and Cheryl Reissmann
(574-3301) or Tim and Sheryl DeHart (731-2620).
ESTHER CORE TEAM
is looking for individuals to join our team. Plan to attend the Core
Team meeting on Tuesday, September 7th, at 7:00 p.m. in the West Conference

RALLY SUNDAY CONTINENTAL
BREAKFAST
Sunday, September 12
Mark your calendars and join us for Rally Sunday. A continental
breakfast will be served following the 9:30 a.m. service. Help is needed
in preparing this event on Saturday morning, September 11th, and Sunday morning.

PATHWAYS COOK-OUT/OPEN HOUSE
You are invited to attend the first annual Pathways Cook-Out and Open House on
